Womens' Section

Broadstone Golf Club is a wonderful place to play golf.

The course is absolutely beautiful with many stunning views of Dorset.

It has a reputation of having a very friendly welcoming women's section.

Members can enjoy both social and competitive golf.

The Club has signed up to the R&A Women in Golf Charter, which shows its commitment to Women’s golf.

The Women's section has its own Committee and representatives on the Handicap and Competitions Committee plus the Managment Committee.

This means women have a significant say in the running the Club.

Women’s events occur in the week and at weekends.

The Club also offers a variety of competitive and more relaxed social mixed events. throughout the year.

There are four courses available to women to play at Broadstone, and Competitions are not restricted to the “red tees”

So, no matter what your ability, there’s always a course and someone to play with at Broadstone.

There is an on course half way hut providing hot drinks and snacks and very good toilet facilities. It is also easy to just play a few holes if you haven’t the time for a full 18.

Lockers and excellent changing facilities with showers are also available.

The club house has recently been refurbished and offers a variety of meals and essential pre or post round drinks. The dress code is relaxed and there is no need to change after your round. There is also now a spikes bar.

New members can sign up to our “buddy “system which is designed to help navigate the Club systems and to help make new friends.

This membership combines a number of lessons with our coaching staff and 12 rounds of golf. In addition, on course' sessions with other women who are also 'new to golf' are arranged.
